“Good tour, however a couple of minor concerns. First being after paying for the tour and on the bus, we were advised that their was an additional 5 euro per person. This was not set out previously. Second was the ferry was packed and we were like sardines. I would hate to have been an older traveller. There were people leaving their bags across seats and children sprawling and taking up space. If I’m paying for a tour, I expect to st least get a seat. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we were priveleged to see Stromboli erupt 5 times”

If you want to move in Panarea you have to take a taxi to go to the beach, It's 30 minutes walking distance and you get there at 2'o clock so it is really hard to go to the beach on foot. “The bus and boat were long but we expected that. Stopping to the two towns ( sort of off-season) was disappointing. They were not as charming as described. The tour was very crowded and almost stampeded onto the boat. My husband had to grab a young child before he fell in the water. I feel the tour guide should have managed the crowd better. The volcano was a little under active so that was disappointing ( but not controllable) The scenery on the boat ride was beautiful though. I would suggest 2 tour guides for that large a group.
