“We went at 9.00am and we were fortunate to be able to see Mt Etna clearly at times. Towards the end of the tour the clouds started to roll in and visibility was not so good. The group was very large so it was difficult to hear everything. I went for the view and to take photos more than to hear the guide. So people did not even take the cable car up and so that did, did not join the walking tour. I don’t understand why you would not do the whole tour. Overall it was very good”

“The Etna tour was awesome! The only minus was that we weren’t allowed to reach the top because of the eruption warnings. Safety first and the guide Marco took us to other places of interest instead. Guide was very pro, he spoke fluent English and his knowledge of vulcanoes was super. Much more interesting to hike with the guide and hear about the eruptions, calderas, soil, rocks, heat, flora and fauna.”
